Team NJABC and New Heights are partnering to host a "live" tournament July 28-29 and July 31 called Summer in the City. The event, which will feature some of the best AAU programs on the East Coast, will be held at St. John's University. The PrimeTime Shootout is the nation’s premiere showcase of the finest high school basketball teams and players. The 2009 event will feature 15 of the top 25 teams in the country including 7 time National Champion Oak Hill Academy where high school and college phenom and NBA star Carmelo Anthony excelled during his high school career. The event which annually draws a large crowd and media presence will also feature last year’s 2008 national champion St. Anthony’s of Jersey City, N.J. along with national powers St. Patrick’s (NJ), Lincoln (NY), Duncanville (TX), LeFlore (ALA) Rice (NY), St. Benedict’s (NJ), Mount Vernon (NY), Chester (PA) , Paterson Catholic (NJ), Roman Catholic (PA), Westchester (CA), Montrose Christian (MD) and Neumann-Goretti (PA).
